According to experts from the Electricity Authority of Cambodia, a rooftop solar power system (solar) is a solar power generation system installed behind the meter and at the customer's location to supply energy for the customer's electricity consumption. The system can be installed on the ground or on the roof.

Rooftop Solar Systems are divided into 2 types៖
Type 1 This is a system that serves electricity consumption locations that are not connected to the national grid. For this type of system, there is no requirement to apply for a permit, no requirement to notify, and no requirement to pay compensation fees.
Type 2 It is a system that serves electricity consumption locations connected to the national grid supply network, involving Synchronization, ATS, and MTS systems.
The discussion ended at 1:00 PM on the same day, in a constructive atmosphere, mutual understanding, and good cooperation between the parties involved, and yielded fruitful results.
