Cambodia is ready to showcase «Khmer smiles, Khmer Francophonie smiles» to the world through the 2026 Village de la Francophonie event, promoting the tourism industry to grow further.
The event will showcase the warm hospitality, friendliness, and cultural identity of the Cambodian people, create a platform for cultural exchange, and promote tourism by showcasing the culinary creations, creativity, and innovation of Cambodian youth and entrepreneurs to approximately 90 OIF member countries.

This was stated by His Excellency Huot Hak, Minister of Tourism, at a seminar to promote the organization of events accompanying the "Village de la Francophonie" with the participation of leaders of ministries and institutions, the private sector, development partners, relevant organizations, and many distinguished guests at the Ministry of Tourism.
As the host of the 20th Francophonie Summit, Cambodia considers this an important international platform to showcase Cambodia's national identity, culture, tourism, food, creativity, and potential under the theme "Khmer Smiles, Francophonie Smiles".
In particular, it will provide an opportunity for ministries and institutions, the private sector, small and medium enterprises, artists, producers and development partners to participate in showcasing Cambodia's achievements, tourism potential, cultural products and investments on the international stage, where all booths and exhibition spaces in the Village de la Francophonie will be provided free of charge.

The Ministry of Tourism, as the host, calls on all ministries, institutions, tourism industry associations, businesses, hotels, restaurants, resorts, artists, producers, and educational institutions to actively participate in the exhibition and organize activities to promote Cambodia's culture, tourism, products, and investment potential to the French-speaking market and the world, as well as jointly showcase Cambodia's image and national pride as the host of this prestigious international event.
On the occasion, Ms. Chip Yuthary, President of the Cambodian-International Economic Cooperation Development Association (CIAECD), also led members to participate in this important program.
The event is scheduled to be held for 5 days from November 13 to 17, 2026, at the beautiful garden in front of Wat Botumvati to showcase art, culture, cooperation, and solidarity between the Kingdom of Cambodia and French-speaking countries through the organization of national pavilions, exhibition booths, food booths, daily mixed arts performances, and the organization of dialogues and workshops on key topics such as promoting tourism, education, youth, gender equality, peace, and preservation of cultural heritage, etc.
